Dragonball is the original series by Akira Toriyama, which started in 1985. At the begining of Dragonball, Gokou helps out people who were in need, and also searching for the Dragonballs. That slowly developed into a fighting based story. The serious nature of the story soon fully unfolds into Dragonball Z. Dragonball Z is why different than the origonal Dragonball. Similar to the combat portion of Dragonball, the plot of the story is Gokou's challenge against evil and very powerful villains. The main villains that Dragonball Z focusses on are Vegeta, Freeza, Cell and Majin Buu, each one more powerful than the previous. Throughout the story enemies and allies become friends, for example Picollo and Gohan are good friends, and even Vegeta(deep down everyon knows that he is good). Once again the story goes from Dragonball Z to Dragonball GT (Grand Tour). This is the last part of the Dragonball saga. Unlike the previous Dragonball and Dragonball Z adventures, Akira Toriyama did not participate in the making of this series. The story line reverts back to that of the original series. Gokou starts off in a quest for the Dragon Balls again, but at a much larger scale. Instead of searching for Dragonballs spread across a planet, Gokou must search for Dragonballs across the entire universe, these are known as the Black Star Dragonballs. |
