| The temple at Ephesus was one of the 7 wonders of the ancient world. The Artemis cult was strong during the preaching of Paul. By AD 401 the temple was torn done by St. John Chrysostom. By 431 a council was held regarding Nestorius a heretic and affirmed the hypostatic union of Christ. Christ was both God and Man. | |||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
