The driver is Ricky Rudd. Ricky has brought new hopes, dreams, and enthusiasm to the long time fans of the 28 car. This is my tribute to Ricky, Robert Yates, the Texaco/Havoline team and all of the Fans. I belong to a group called NascarNUTs and we do a weekly NASCAR Newsletter which you can check out by clicking the banner below. The Newsletter is designed and published by myself and my friends. Davey was my favorite driver! Also check out my Ernie Irvan Tribute, and my Alan Kulwicki Tribute. Alan died a few short months before Davey Allison did and Alan was my second favorite driver. Ernie took over the 28 car after Davey's death and had his own near fatal accident at Michigan. Ricky Rudd has finally given us long time 28 car fans something to cheer about again. Thanks Ricky!
