| When I was in high school, I drove an orange 1998 Isuzu Amigo which was named UZI. This vehicle would become a legend that to this day still lives on in my younger brother Tim as he drives this sacred vehicle. The legend started in an unfortunate way when Amigo I, UZI's predecessor, died a horrible death in a rollover accident on November 20, 1998. Luckily only the car died, and no one else did. From what I heard, Amigo I was rebuilt and is now owned by some lucky individual, so best of luck to them and I hope the clutch lasts more than 20,000 miles. Anyhow, back to the legend. Then, UZI came into the picture. UZI looked identical to her predecessor, same color, same car, same everything. This car became synonymous with me throughout my high school career. UZI was one of the best vehicles that I have ever driven, it has a 3.2L V-6 Engine in it and could beat most cars in a quarter mile (I have never tried drag racing it, but I am pretty sure it would've won.) That car would pass anything except one thing.....a gas station. Anyhow, the torch has been passed to my younger brother, Tim, and he is now enjoying (I hope) UZI's bliss. |
