Thomas Longfellow was the third child of seven of William Longfellow and Mary Green Janson. Thomas married Nancy Reed on 19 Nov 1774 Either in Caroline,Talbot or Queen Annes County, Maryland. I have not yet ran into any substantiating documentation that proved the existence of this Thomas such as Revolutionary War records or support from the Reed Family so needed badly here is some to prove he existed. Some family records say that Thomas and Nancy had three children: 1)Britanica b. 13 May 1776 in Queen Annes County,Maryland and she married to William Jarvis about 1800 and believed that she died about 1806. Uncertain of any children from that union.2) Vincent Longfellow b. 4 Oct 1777 in Queen Annes County, Maryland and he married Richie Cubbage on 4 May 1798 in Kent,Delaware.3) Jonathan Longfellow b.1 Dec 1778 probably in Queen Annes County, Maryland.Jonathan married Esther Griffith 1 Jan 1796 in Kent,Delaware.

Thomas Longfellow died from wounds received in battle in the Revolutionary War on 10 Aug 1780. Apparently he had inlisted in the Caroline County Militia and may have originally been from Caroline County. Any new information or documents on this family would certainly be appreciated by all.
