I am truly grateful to God for everything that he has done in my life to date!  He has blessed me incredibly with an awesome wife, family, health, and everything else one can wish for.  I am grateful for the patience he has with me, his grace, his Word, and the sacrifice he made for me through his son Jesus.  I pray that my baptism will bring glory to him!

Cristine is a great example of a faithful disciple of Jesus.  She is my best friend, lover, and an incredible mother to our two daughters, Emily and Eleanor.  Cristine was baptized 5 years ago, and it is through her faithfulness and example that I was eventually 'won over' to Christ and God.  She is a living example of the scripture in 1 Peter 3:1-2:

"Wives, in the same way be submissive to your husbands so that, if any of them do not believe the word, they may be won over without words by the behavior of their wives, when they see the purity and reverence of your lives."

Robert, my best friend, has been praying for this day for many years.   He is an awesome disciple and has been a great friend to me and my family.  Robert was the one I called when I finally decided to study the Bible, and has been an integral part of my studies.

Larry is another incredible disciple, another one of my best friends (I am so blessed!), and an Elder in the Houston Church.  Larry is the one who helped convince me about the existence of God.  Larry's wisdom and life experience in the Gospel have been an incredible help for me during my studies.

Damon was the Lead Evangelist of the Houston Church.  He joined my studies at a point where I needed them to move to the 'next level.'  Damon's leadership and experience brought the scriptures to life for me, culminating in an incredible study about the Cross.

Kip was the leader of God's Modern Day Movement, and the Lead Evangelist of the Los Angeles Church.  I had the incredible honor of meeting Kip and his family in Scottsdale Arizona this last Christmas.  After Kip preached an inspiring message, I was able to have some 1-on-1 time with him.  Kip encouraged me to move forward with the faith that I had, and to pray that God will continue to build my faith over time.  I am truly grateful for Kip's genuine concern and interest in me, and for his faith, leadership, and vision for God's Modern Day Movement.

God answered Cristine's prayer to move us to a city where I would eventually become a disciple.  Over the past 4 and a half years we have built many friendships and relationships with the great disciples of the Houston Church.  I am grateful for their friendship, love, and prayers.
