| Della Bender, future grandmother-in-law Della hosted the first of my bridal showers at her church. It was a great time! Kyle Bentley, cousin Kyle is letting us borrow his karaoke machine. LeMerle Bentley, grandmother Grandma offered to help my mom by making Monica's bridesmaid's dress. Mom ended up making them all, but I thank you all the same. She is also providing fruit trays for the wedding. Monica Bentley, sister Monica organized the bachelorette party and serving as Maid of Honor... awesome! Monica will be doing hair for the wedding. Stan Bentley, father My dad is providing the up-front money and moral support during this stressful time! Terri Bentley, mother My mom made the bridesmaids' dresses! Thanks, Mom, for going above the call-of-duty! Mom is also hosted the bridesmaids luncheon at her beautiful home and is letting some of David's family stay at our house. Richard Broaddus, friend and photographer Richard has offered to customize my photography at a reasonable cost. Thank you for making this possible! Elizabeth Burnley, friend and coworker Elizabeth helped plan a surprise party for me at work April 20. Cindy Caudill, future mother-in-law Cindy has volunteered to help coordinate the food effort. She's organizing a fleet of helpers to make sure the catering turns out perfectly. Watson Caudill, future father-in-law Watson will be performing the ceremony for David and me. I think this will be a very personal touch... and I'm eager to see what he has to say about all this marriage-stuff. Camille Cooper, future aunt-in-law Camille has thus far been my decorating and floral guru. She has designed the bouquets, corsages, and boutineres for the wedding; as well as helped brainstorm about the centerpieces and general decor. Camille helped host my first shower. Eddie Cooper, future uncle-in-law Eddie is organizing the party music for this fun event! Joanne DeVries, friend and coworker Joanne helped organize a surprise party for me at work on April 20. Joanne also provided me with some nautical clothes for the cruise! Susan Edwards, travel agent Susan is helping us survive Northwest airlines and taking care of all the arrangements, so while we're worrying about the wedding, we can relax about the honeymoon. John Hamilton, caterer John is the caterer at Critchfield's, and he was so nice on the phone! For all of you who know how much phone anxiety I have, it was much needed. Martine Holzman, cake lady Martine is not charging me for a cake tray or for delivery to Winchester. Ouau, merci, Martine! Becky Ott, future aunt-in-law Becky designed our engagement (see photos) and hosted the second of my bridal showers. I'm sure she will be suckered into doing more later! Dr. Joe Ott, David's physician and family friend Dr. Ott wrote us a prescription for motion sickness to use on our cruise... thank you. Whitney Ott, future cousin-in-law Whitney kept track of my gifts at my second shower. What a help! Maya Tayake, friend and coworker Maya helped organize a surprise party for me at work on April 20. Betty Watkins, grandmother Granny is making a fruit tray for the wedding. Teresa Welch, future aunt-in-law Teresa helped Della organize the first of my bridal showers. It was her idea! She also provided some money for fruit trays. Dusty, Leslie's boyfriend Sorry, Dusty, but I don't know your last name! Dusty is picking up the pulled pork the day of the wedding so that we can think about other things. |
