About me... wow... a DC/Virginia native who transplanted first to NYC/NJ (and that NJ is pronounced "Joyzee") and then to Seattle... my life has been anything but boring! Dave and I would like to return to the South (Jacksonville, FL)... the Pacific Northwest is beautiful, but the summers are way too short, and the people... well...

There have been a few hard times, sad times, broke times... but the experiences have culminated to make me who I am today!

One of the scariest times came in 2001... I'm a 2 year Breast Cancer survivor, and I fully intend to be around for 30 or 40 more!

Moving day 2000... from the house to the apartment...

Ready for the company holiday party (2000)

For those of you who lost track of me after college, I spent over 8 years working with the military, then 2 years with the FBI (no X-Files stuff), 2 years in banking and finance, and 1.5 years out here as a contractor. (Yes, I did 6 months out at the Borg and they could NOT assimilate me!) I've been working for VoiceStream/T-Mobile since 2001 (an old timer in the telecom industry).

I miss working with the military, but I don't miss all the travel that went with it. I logged enough frequent flier miles that I flew Concorde in 1998. (Yes! I did it! And what an experience it was!) I still love to travel... Hawaii by the end of 2005, and hopefully Tibet in this lifetime! Dave and I have become "Cruise-a-holics" and that's how we'll get to Hawaii next year... gotta love Carnival!!

I still love history, though I haven't been active in the re-enactment scene since the mid 90s. I continue to study Tudor and Southern War for Independence eras, and once my job stabilizes I'll apply for Graduate school to earn a MA in History with Military Emphasis (my concentration will be on Lee's Army of Northern Virginia).

There are those I've lost touch with and those... well...

I also still love cars... I have a 2003 Mustang and a 1970 Galaxie 500 (the later is currently being restored). I've been told by many old and dear friends that their memory of me is always behind the wheel of my old Ford, cruising around I-495 at midnight, drinking Slurpees, and listening to QUEEN on my portable tape player. Some things never change... :)

Dave took this of me at Diablo Dam (Easter 2001)... yes, the wind was blowing!

Me with the original Green Machine...
