Hello, my names Dave Turpitt, and I live five miles away from Southampton in a place called Chandlers Ford, with my children Rob (20) and Sara (18).
I was born in this house, which is in Oreston in Plymouth.
I moved to Chandlers Ford when I was 8 years old, and attended Fryern Junior School, the old North End Secondary School, and finally Thornden. Have a look at a couple of old school mates here.
At 16, I wasn't ready to get a job, so I spent two years maturing, and finding exams to pass at Peveril VIth form College. I got my first job at 18.. and from then on.. it was work work work.....
My hobbies do change every now and again, but at the moment my favourites are Music, Football, keeping that middle age spread at bay, Computing, and looking after the kids, which in itself is a full time job.
