I grew up listening to Slade in my early teenage years... remember Noddy Holder.. Mama we're all crazzee now.. etc...but when 1976/7 arrived I was a changed person... Gone was the pomp of Glam Rock, and in came Punk like a breath of fresh air. I thought punk was going to change the world, but, as we all know it didn't change much in the whole scheme of things.

I know my musically tastes differ to most peoples, but give me back the good old days of 1976/7, Anarchy, The Kings Road, Punk and the Sex Pistols, and I'll be a happy person.... you know what you can do with these boy bands!!!

Here are a few of the groups that I have seen live.. The Sex Pistols, Clash,, Damned, Sham 69, The Stranglers, Buzzcocks, Cocksparrer, The Boys, UK Subs, Stiff Little Fingers, Undertones, Siouxsie, Jam, Chelsea, Dickies, Instant Agony, Menace, Cockney Rejects, T.V. Smith, Partisans, Boomtown Rats, Slaughter and the Dogs, Angelic Upstarts, Vice Squad, Special Duties, Peter & the Test Tube Babies. 999, Police, Cure, ANWL, Tourists, Richard Hell, Madness, Dropkick Murphys, Elvis Costello, Straight Jacket, Undertones, Bad Manners, Iggy Pop, Argy Bargy, Penetration, Addicts, Sewars, Derita Sisters, Krays, Channel 3, Subhumans, Bleach Boys, Paddingtons, Avengers, Rezillos, Ari Up, ATV, Vibrators, Cocksparrer, Slaughter and the Dogs, Joe Strummer, Fast Cars, Chron Gen, Addicts, NY Relix, Bus Station Loonies, Beerzone, Babyshambles, Goldblade, Dropkick Murphys, Duran Duran, Gary Numan, Nolans and lots more bands I can't think of.

Which band do I like best.. well thats an easy question.. it was the Sex Pistols, right from the start they said what they thought, and played and did what they wanted. They were the 'dogs nuts' to me!!!

Fanzines were all the rage in 1977, here is an up todate one written by my mate Bone.. its called the Part Time Punk Fanzine
