The Riot

Corik saw the devastation of the brawl long before they had made it to the scene. Apparently they had made it a few buildings from Capula’s main cell block, and had left remnants of their fighting all over the platforms, from bodies to scores in the plating still red hot.
Being that the entire planet city of Coruscant was built close to a thousand feet above ground, moving about required moving through a series of buildings if your only option was on foot. And apparently the force hadn’t found a ship big enough to commandeer yet, thus they had torn apart the interior of quite a few Capulan business offices. Blaster scoring had come out the windows and fried some of the walls, leaving burn marks on the outside. Corik could only imagine what it had been like in the building moments before. When they approached the group, his imagination became reality.
The group consisted of perhaps two dozen men, a huge number for a setting like this, especially when all were armed with something. They were headed into the next building, and Master Jurix pointed out the large transport ship docked on the other side. “If they get on board that there’ll be trouble” he said, sounding a bit perturbed and anxious.
This made Corik anxious too. What if it was too much to handle? Corik shook it off. They landed on the same platform that had on it the transport. They would face them head on. I hope there’s some security forces inside that building to take a few more down before-
His thoughts were cut off as the crowd of men burst through the automatic doors and headed straight for them. The stretch was minimal, giving them maybe seven seconds before they would be within blaster range. He ignited his saber and readied the blue beam in nervous anticipation. Master Jurix, as he reached for his, calmly said to him “You go left, I go right.” It seemed easy enough, but there were other options. As the lead man fired his rifle, Master Jurix made his move, and so did Corik.
