Into the Inn
Corik made his way into the inn, deciding to try and find information there. As he stepped inside the facility, he began to feel more comfortable. The interior was well lit and the room was quiet as compared to outside in the street. A lime green Rodian sat at the service desk, and was the only one present in the room to Corik’s knowledge.
Corik walked over and asked the creature if he had any knowledge of a spaceship dealer or someone who was looking to buy a ship. The Rodian looked down and thought for a moment, then answered.
“Reyo Hodge, a *Mandalorian merchant, is looking for a way off the planet. He just came in a few moments ago, perhaps he would be interested. He’s in room 6.”
Mandalorian, Corik thought as he thanked the clerk and headed into the hallway complex. Mandalorians weren’t generally merchants; they were built to be mercenaries. Corik would keep his guard up.
He stopped when he saw the door labeled with a 6 above it. He looked to the other side only to find one of the nearby doors on that side also had a 6 above it. He wasn’t sure exactly what was going on, why there were two number 6’s, but he had to do something, and that meant picking one of them.
*Mandalorian- A Mandalorian is a member of a mercenary group known as the Mandalorians. Mandalorians are not a species but a culture. The leader of the Mandalorians typically takes on the title of "Mandalore". The Mandalorians rarely allied with a Jedi or Sith, respecting only valor in battle. But they are mercenaries so they will fight with them for the right price. The goal of the Mandalorians is to one day be united again in the Mandalore Sector.
