Man against nature, England against Germany, me against my crippling scabies. All through the ages there have been fights, battles, wars, people poking each other with sharp sticks, but none have quite equalled the rivalry between Catalyst and Visual Fallacy. Having made some exhaustive research (there wasn't much, but it was exhausting) I have found that, although there have been many bigger rivalries, there are none the same magnitude as this one* |

*actual scientific studies show that Catalyst vs Visual Fallacy came 52nd, between Turkmenistan vs Uzbekistan and Sheffield Wednesday vs Barnsley. This is no mean feat, as after the two team's last meeting, a rather nasty incident broke out between some eight year olds outside the ground. Catalyst, those lovable mods who incorporate mod music, grunge and good 'ol heavy rock into their music. To damn good effect, too.

Let's face it, if there was a fight between the two bands, these guys wouldn't be much use. Two of them would just be bitch-slapping, and Robyn and Cristabel wouldn't be much better. Still, an all-round musical influence promotes their sound, although no punk is involved, dammit. Although Adam has asked me to point out that they are still good, just not punk. I apologise.
