CURRICULUM

A Kindergarten program should be developmental which means that all materials and lessons are appropriate for the child's chronological age as well as developmental age.  It is individualized which allows each child to learn at his/her own pace.  A program should be child centered which allows children to learn through active participation and hands on lessons.   A room that is separated into centers works very well for most students.  Also a  learn through play technique works very well when providing developmental lessons in each center.
