ABOUT ME             

I graduated from Penn State University with a B.S. in Elementary and Special Education.  I also received my permanent certification from the PA Private Academic Schools in Early Childhood Education.  I taught early childhood education for ten years in several different Nursery Schools.  I taught Kindergarten in a private school for close to three years where I was involved in constructing the curriculum and developing goals that  focus on developmentally appropriate practices.  I also taught in an early intervention inclusive pre-school where I worked with children with a variety of special needs.  I developed goals for IEP's and IFSP's and worked closely with physical, occupational and speech therapists to provide the best opportunities for our students to grow in a caring environment.  I am currently in a graduate program at Arcadia University for my masters in Education with a concentration in Technology and Computers in the classroom.  I have been teaching third grade for the past three years but my love for Kindergarten and early childhood education always remains with me.  That is why I have constructed this site.
