I love movies. I'm absoultely addicted to them. There is not a genre I don't love. Action, sci-fi, drama, huge budget summer blockbusters, independantly produced art films no one has heard of, you name it, I love it.
I have gotten really tired of reading reviews done by people who don't seem to like watching movies. I specifically started writing them to try and replace the critic in my local newspaper. I don't think he's watched a movie and enjoyed it for years.
I'm not saying I love every movie I see. There are even some movies I flat out refuse to watch, because I have a bias against the actor/actress/director or just think the idea of the movie is lame. I'm just saying that I enjoy watching them.
Please feel free to e-mail me about a review I have written, or a movie in the theater you think I should see. Please, please e-mail me if you particularly like something of mine. Be warned, if you didn't like a review, you may certainly offer me constructive criticism. If you don't like the way I write, don't bother to read my stuff. If you e-mail and are nasty to me, I will e-mail and be nasty right back. I've never claimed to be a "turn the other cheek" kind of person.
I hope you enjoy my work. I enjoy writing them, and I really enjoy going to the theater and watching them.
