Preface

- Establishment of Rumah Kebajikan Anak-anak yatim is under section 7 (i) (c) enactment Majlis Agama Islam dan Adat Istiadat Melayu Kelantan (MAIK) 1966.

- Under this enactment, MAIK has establish 2 house for orphans

- Darul Aitam Putera located at Jalan Dato' Lundang (began operation in 2 May 1985)

- Darul Aitam Puteri located at Jalan Raja Dewa (officially open in 3 August 1992).

- At the end of 2006, childrens of Darul Aitam Putera have moved to Kompleks Islam Jubli Perak Sultan Ismail Petra, Panji. Since then, all the administrative of Darul Aitam be doing at that place.
