The Darryl Time Line.....

Darryl replaced Rodney Hicks in '97. 

Darryl didn't quite remember the date of his first audition, but he did tell me this!
          "Now I don't remember when I initially auditioned, I was auditioning for something else, and they asked me if I could sing, so... I did and I got called back about 8 times."

October 3rd, 1997: Darryl's first show with the Broadway Cast as Paul.

August 7th, 1999: Darrly goes on as Paul, and rocks.

September 26th, 1999: Darryl goes on as Paul

October 31st, 1999: I saw Darryl perform as Benny for the first time. He was great!  HAPPY BIRTHDAY DARRYL!  All the Rentheads sang him Happy Birthday after the show.

March 19th, 2000: Darryl is back from a leave of Absence!  He was on as Paul and was great.  Welcome back Darryl!

Marcyh 25th, 2000: Darryl is on as Paul

April 28th, 2000: My birthday show, and Darryl was on as Paul!

July 29th, 2000: Darryl is on as Paul

July 1st, 2000: Darryl is on again as Paul!

August 6th, 2000: (Supposed to be Norbert's Last)  Darryl was on as Benny!!  My second time seeing him as Benny.  He was great!  And he gave me a hug....

August 20th, 2000: Darryl was on as Paul, a few bloopers.  As said by Liz:

"Darryl Had an unlucky first act! When he's on the "Christmas Tree" during 'Rent', he hit his head so hard on the bar and had this stunned look on his face and then he and Danielle were laughing so hard that Danielle had to hide her head and cover her mouth (I could see from where I was sitting!) and Darryl was laughing throughout 'Rent'.  Then in 'Christmas Bells' when they're moving the chairs and tables he dropped it on his foot and had to sing holding the chair."

Poor Darryl! But he was laughing so it must not have hurt him to much!  Thank goodness!
