Rapture
Oh, if only I could capture
the portrait that I see.
I can't help but stare in rapture
at the face looking back at me.
The greatest poets couldn't set in verse
the beauty of your eyes.
I myself would do much worse
after many countless tries.
Those eyes have pulled me deep,
quick to snare my heart.
Now my heart is yours to keep,
and, thus, true love will start.
