Original Air Date: January 08, 2002 Written by: David Fury Directed by: David Fury Buffy and Dawn, whose arm is in a sling from the car crash with Willow, help remove all mystical and magical items from the house. Buffy explains to Dawn that Willow needs no reminders of magic around her. While she is talking she finds Spikes� lighter and reflects, for a moment, on her and Spike, then throws the lighter in a box with other magical items. Buffy and Dawn argue and Buffy tells Willow that Dawn is mad at her more than at Willow because Buffy let Dawn get injured. Spike comes over looking for his lighter. Buffy accuses him of using that as an excuse to see her.They flirt a liitle until Xander comes in and almost catches them. As Dawn and Xander are leaving, a worker from social services comes by to meet with Buffy about Dawn. Mrs. Kroger and Buffy start to talk, but Spike is waiting in the living room and causes Mrs. Kroger to become suspicious. Willow, and some leftover magical items, deepen her suspicion of Buffy and she tells her that she is being put on suspension. Spike calls Buffy 'Goldilocks, and when she rebufs his advances, he leans in very, very close to her, only to put his hand into her pocket and retrieve his lighter! After Spike leaves, Buffy goes upstairs and stasrts to hack at her hair with a pair of scissors! Warren, Jonathan, and Andrew use the diamond they stole to invent an invisibility gun. They accidentally hit Buffy with the ray as she is leaving the hairdressers and make her and some other things invisible. Buffy meets with Xander and Anya at the Magic Box where they start research to find out how she became invisible. Buffy goes for a walk and uses her invisibility to make Mrs. Kroger�s boss think Mrs. Kroger is crazy. Xander and Willow talk and she gets mad and goes to investigate after Xander suspects her of using a spell to make Buffy invisible. Willow discovers the other invisible items and tracks down a tire mark, while Buffy pays Spike a visit. Xander catches Spike and Buffy having sex, but he doesn�t know that that is what is happening since Buffy is invisible. After he leaves, Buffy and Spike argue about her enjoyment at the fact that no one can see her. Willow finds the hideout of the three nerdy boys and is taken hostage. Buffy finds out from Xander that she will fade completely and die, unless she is made visible. Jonathan calls Buffy to tell her where to meet them to get Willow back. She meets them in an arcade and the nerdy boys are also invisible. Warren tells Buffy he will make her visible but Willow catches him about to make her fade. Buffy fights with the geeks and when Willow uses the gun to make everyone visible again they find out it�s Jonathan, Warren and some guy named Andrew who are the ones that have been annoying her. After threatening her they clumsily leave. Willow and Buffy talk and Buffy says that for the first time since she came back, she doesn�t want to die. |
