Wrecked (Thanks to Lea for the Episode Guide) Original Air Date: November 27, 2001 Written by: Marti Noxon Directed by: David Solomon Tara and Dawn wake up in the morning on the couch, and neither Buffy nor Willow has been home. Buffy awakes with Spike in the house where they were fighting and bonking. The house has fallen down around them. They argue about their night together and Buffy threatens to kill Spike if he tells anyone they had sex, then she leaves. Willow and Amy walk in while Tara is making breakfast for Dawn. Buffy comes in a little later and apologizes to Dawn for staying out all night. Anya, Xander, and Buffy continue to research at the Magic Shop, looking for a demon that may have stolen the diamond from the museum. Willow tells Amy it took her all day to get her powers back, so Amy takes her to a guy who can make spells last longer. This guy, a Warlock called Rack, entertains Willow and Amy in his room all day, letting them absorb powerful, addictive magic. The next night Willow agrees to take Dawn out to eat and to a movie. After they eat Willow takes Dawn to Rack�s, leaving her in his waiting room. Buffy goes home and finds Amy stealing some of Willow�s magic supplies and finds out that Willow must have taken Dawn with her to Rack's. After fruitlessley searching for Rack, Buffy goes to Spike for help in locating him. Willow starts to walk home with Dawn, after leaving her for hours in Rack�s waiting room. As they walk a demon confronts them, one that Willow saw during her time with Rack. She tells Dawn that he�s not real, but he swipes and cuts Dawn�s face. She and Willow run and Willow uses magic to steal and drive a car. Dawn cries and Willow laughs as they start to lose the demon until Willow crashes the car. Dawn crawls out of the wreckage and the demon hurts Dawn just as Buffy finds them. Buffy fights the demon until Willow makes him disappear. Willow tries to apologize to Dawn who is hurt. Dawn slaps her and she and Buffy, with Spike, walk away, leaving Willow. She begs for help and Buffy comes back for her. Willow and Buffy talk later at home and Willow promises to try and give up the magic. Buffy puts garlic around her room hoping it will deter Spike from visiting her. |
