| Dark Shadows is set in Collinsport, Maine named after the Collins family who live in the huge brooding house atop Widows Hill - Collinwood. Collinwood is full of ghosts witches, werewolves and secrets. The Collinses are known for keeping many elements out of the Collins Family History Books to keep they're reputation and pride! |
| The Legacy begins when Victoria Winters arrives at Collinwood to be David Collins Governess. Ms. Winters is a young orphan looking for answers to her past. During her stay at Collinwood she meets the residents Liz, Roger, Carolyn, David & some major people: Burke Devlin whom she becomes engaged to but who later dies, Barnabas Collins - a 175 year old Vampire newly released from his coffin by genius Willie Loomis (ha), and when Vicky gets transported back to 1795 she meets her true love of her life Jeff Clark/Peter Bradford. In 1795 we learn the past of Barnabas Collins, meet the witch Angelique and Barnabas' doomed bride Josette Du'Pres .......And the Rest is History!........ |

| Well as you may very well know, Dark Shadows run on Sci Fi has ended! :( And Sci Fi doesn't plan to rerun it! Now for me that's sad because I didn't get to see the very beginning of the series, and who knows if they'll put it out on DVD!? and what about the DS fans in the future!? I think they should keep playing it so maybe it'll catch the eye of new fans, and when the new remake of DS comes out, more fans will be inclined to see it. No fan should go without seeing the classics! Now I don't know what the ratings were for SciFi for DS, but anyway. I want to know if anyone else feels the way I do. Would you sign a petition to get DS back on Sci Fi? If so, send an email to: [email protected] and stay your opinion. Also, I will be posting this poll in my Roger Collins Polls Group at yahoo.
