Welcome to I Hate Dixon's.

This site was set up after I Discovered that a soundcard I brought from the Cameron Toll branch was in fact a second hand one and they charged me full price for it. Subsequent contact with the Office of Fair Trading turned up little success as to getting some compensation or apology as they no longer had the soundcard I had bought.

So I decided to set up this site to, yes bitch, slag them off whatever.

I want to hear from other people who have had similar shit from Dixon's or any of their other subsidiaries i.e. PCWorld.

We will publish all story's (with your permission of course).

So please get in touch and tell all.

Update for 14th January 2004

Well Well another year has passed and I've been doing a little snooping at our local Link and Dixons (I must be mad) because I needed an extension Lead for my modem.

Went to Sainsbury's and got 10m modem to Telephone lead only it shorted out all the phones in the house so I didn't know when anyone was calling me.

So after getting my money back and seeing as Sainsbury's didn't have what I wanted (and desperate to get back online) decided to nip into The Link to see what they had.

Not being funny and excuse the French  but they haven't got a fucking clue. I saw 3M extension lead priced at �3.99, �5.99 and �9.99.

So I left the link and nipped into Dixons across the way and saw a 10 metre Telephone extension lead for �5.99 (All the 3m leads exactly the same as The Link) What are their staff on!!!! Whatever it is must be good NOT!!!!.

So get to the cash desk and up comes the price of �7.99, I mention this to which the sales assistant goes, oh they've done it again and still charges me �7.99.

I could have argued the toss but thought why bother.

They really are fucking useless.

On Other things I'd like to wish all my Dixons haters a Merry and hopefully Dixons free new year and before you say traitor for shopping with them,  we're not exactly spoilt for choice where I live in my little hamlet in Edinburgh and if Sainsbury's hasn't got what I need then I've got to shop somewhere quick unless I want to wait for bus into Princes Street.

One more thing I've just had a look on their website and those of you in the know and like your Digital Radio to look trendy will be interested to know their ripping you off if you purchase
