Favorite colors/dress: T’uft doesn’t care about fashion at all. If he’s not in his rider gear then he’s always wearing blue. He likes to match his dragon.

Background: Tuft was born under the name of Quinto, a name he hated, for as a child he was constantly mocked by the other holdbrats. He grew up with both parents involved in the harper business. Tuft loved music and could sing wonderfully at a young age. As he grew and his voice changed, he was placed as a journeyman harper. Tuft longed to explore the Southern Continent, as the style of song was mutating down there. There he set out to learn the ways of the work and spread lessons from hold to hold. He had impressed three flits and acquired his runnerbeast, Hoagie through a poker game. He was eventually assigned to Dark Cove Weyr. As there was also another harper with the weyrsinger, Tuft went out on a limb and signed up for candidacy, the true cause being that he wanted to impress the Weyrleader’s young sister who was a weyrling, Felcoa. Things changed when T’uft did impress blue Adunath on the sands. Throughout his weyrling years he became good friends with T’ris and Felcoa, only, unlike them, he managed to stay out of trouble. Shortly after graduation, T’uft acquired a minor burn in threadfall. It was while visiting an old hold he once taught as a journeyman did it come to light that Adunath was a searchdragon. T’uft was thrilled, because he could still explore much of the South and North on search. When the plague reached the South, T’uft was hit hard by the death of his friend Felcoa. Unlike his friend T’ris, T’uft has gotten over it by using music has a healing process. That and he’s used to opening up to others. As much as T’uft is a womanizer and a manizer, he longs for the day when maybe there will be someone out there for him.

Personality: T’uft is very laid back and full of wisdom and knowledge from his travels. He loves exploring and as a result, he does have trouble settling down. He’s always on the go, luckily, being a searchrider aids in this. He is full of laughter and jokes, warming up to people instantly. One way to get through his heart is also through his stomach. His major fault other then moving around too much, is that he is a pathetic womanizer, though he does like men too.

Pets: Three flits, brown Bort, blue Gerv, and green Sally. Also has a runnerbeast Hoagie, who is under the current ownership of the beastmaster of the weyr.

Relationships: Gets along with every dragon, almost… Likes children, even though his rider doesn’t have much interest in them.
