Hair color/Style: Dark, looks black in shade, but in sun one can see that it is just really dark brown with what looks like red streaks. It's worn in a messy bun/knot at the back of her head so that it doesn't get caught in the rigging of a ship or get in her way.
Complexion: Tanned from working on the deck of a ship with the sun beating down on her.
Scars or birthmarks, etc: She has a long thin scar on the left side of her torso, ranging in about 10 cm. long
Jewelry or weapons: She has a long dagger that she wears. It is longer than a belt knife. She also has two leather straps that she wears on the middle of her upper arms, one on each. She has two small silver hoops that she wears in each ear.
Favorite colors/dress: She can most usually be seen in a pair of working leathers and a loose, sleeveless shirt. Her favorite color is dark navy blue.

Background: Tala was born in Igen weyr, but she doesn't know who her father is. Her mother Tianasla dumped her off on a older couple's hold step and there she was raised until around the age of 11, when she ran off. The couple she had been living with were kind to her and treated her like one of her own, but she was dieing to know who her father was. Fueled with this mission she tracked him to the sea where she met a crew of pirates. She joined their number, at first as a small cabin girl, but slowly gained respect, making it to first mate. She was with the ship Dark Surf until the age of 19 where she can now be found sneaking around Dark Cove Hold. She was disgusted with what the Pirates had done to the old Weyrleader, and had given up hope of finding her father. She could here the sea calling her though, or was it the sea? She didn't know. But something was making her stay around the area.

Personality: Tala is the type of person who will not let anyone put her down unless she feels she is learning a valuble lesson or sees the reason behind the persons words. She is quick to smile, but those in the past have found that her smile can be sometimes misunderstood. The one thing that has changed her life most though, is her curiosity. It's unsateable. The weyr pulls to her and she has no idea why, and there for, stays close to it.

Hobbies/Skills: Good with a blade, Good at dealing with Dolphins.
