Background: Taiden was the youngest child in a family that was struggling with poverty on the overcrowded Keroon Plains. His birth killed his mother who was already worn out from too many children and grueling physical work. Though his father tried to love his son, on some level Torggen blamed Taiden for his wife's death. Taiden ended up being raised by his eldest sister Rayel who became both a surogat mother and a best friend to him. Throughout his childhood he was quite small, and while all his sisters took after their father, Taiden closely resembled their mother. His small size made him an easy target for bullies and he was often picked on desite Rayel's attempts to protect him. When he was 9 the family left the Keroon Plains and migrated to Dark Cove Hold on the Southern Continent. As he grew older Taiden's features retained that delicate, almost feminine look and he got teased very badly because of it. His looks attracted much more serious trouble however and on one occaision he was scared out of his wits by a drunk who made advances at him. Taiden never told anyone, not even Rayel about the incident.

Personality: Taiden is a quiet, thoughtful boy who is quite mature for his age. He's often ignored and over-looked by adults because of his small size, so he hears and sees quite a bit and people are often surprised by his perceptive observations. The thing he wants most is to be accepted by people his age and to fit in. Taiden is painfully shy in the presence of unfamiliar people and tends to withdraw instinctively in a confrontation. He resents his sister Rayel constantly protecting him, but at the same time he relies on her alot.

Hobbies/Skills: Taiden was raised to be a farmer and that's mostly all he had time for. One thing he does enjoy is drawing and while he's hardly a master artist his sketches are quite good.
