Background: Her parents died soon after she was born, so she never really knew them. Her older brother, S'shen, had a hand in raising her, but she was mostly raised by the women in the lower caverns. She got a little training from the local harper, and has always loved to sing to herself. She was never good enough to actually get apprenticed, but she always whistles and hums to herself. Curious and adventerous she wandered into the nearby forest once, and never did it again after an attack from wild felines. Thankfull, Sojhoth and S'shen were able to save her, but not before one of the beasts put a claw through her chest, just below her colar bone. The healers were able to stitch her up, and she eventually healed. She has stood as a candidate for three hatchings, and is still standing waiting for her chance. Personality: Bright, curious, adventersome, and optomistic. Selshie can make an aweful situation seem fine. She a little naive, and extremely trusting even to the point of being dangerously gullible. The word ditzy applies here. She hardly ever thinks of herself, and when she does she feels like she's being selfish.
