Scars or Birthmarks etc: She has two small white scars between her thumb and index finger on her right hand, the trademark of a tunnelsnake bite.
Jewelry or Weapons: Rishana carries a belt knife like most riders do. Her belt knife has an intricate wood handle with designs of firelizards engraved into it. The blade itself is about three inches long. The knife was given to her as a gift from her parents on her 13th turnday.
Favorite Colors/Dress: Rishana usually likes to wear casual clothes and will usually only wear her rider's jacket and her dark green wher-hide pants. She will sometimes wear dresses when she is in the mood; the ones that she does wear tend to be deep green with a gold trim.

Background:Rishana was born to a modest family in Igen Hold. Her father Tarak works as a hold guard and her mother Tylana works as a healer. Rishana was always getting in fights with her older brother J'ren, who seemed to take pleasure, is pulling pranks on her and teasing her. Still, when she was picked on by any of the other hold children, her brother was always there to protect her. At 10 ten turns she was already hard at work, usually ranging far from the hold looking for specific herbs that the hold garden didn't grow. She was also put to work in the kitchens peeling tubers and other menial tasks. When she turned 11 turns, her mother began to teacher her the healing craft. She spent long days with her mother, watching her brew herbs for ailments and explaining the use of each one. One day she was just heading out to collect some herbs when she spotted a crowd milling around the courtyard of the hold. She was curious so she rushed over to see what was going on. It wasn't until after she had squeezed her way through several people that she saw what they will all looking at. A blue dragon had just landed in the courtyard, and the dragon had someone cornered up against a building, blocking the figure's escape with a long blue tail. She then climbed up on a barrel to get a better view. Only then did she see that her brother was the one being cornered. He brother had been searched. Her parents were happy to hear the news and the entire family attended the hatching. They were overjoyed when Jaren impressed to blue Taroeth. Rishana didn't see her brother very often after that; he was always busy with his duties as a rider. On her 13th turnday she was given a belt knife as a present from her parents for doing the tasks set by her mother so well. A few days later, she went for a walk searching for herbs outside the hold. She accidentally stumbled upon a firelizard clutch in the sand. Most of the firelizards had died already, but she managed to save one blue. She was lucky enough to have grabbed a leftover meatroll for a snack before she left, which she then fed to the firelizard. The firelizard stuck with her from that moment on, and so she named him Talon. A full turn later, she was out talking to her sister in the courtyard when suddenly a shadow had fallen over both of them. They both jumped to the side, just in time to avoid a green dragon that was landing. Rishana attempted to leave, but the green stuck her head in the way, blocking her only way out. The green dragon's rider then asked Rishana to stand on the sands for Igen's latest clutch. Rishana was stunned at first but soon agreed. A few sevendays later she stood on the sands and impressed to green Kirath. Four turns later, she received horrible news. Her brother and his dragon had died from the plague. Rishana was so stricken with grief that she couldn't stand to stay at Igen Weyr anymore. There were simply too many lingering memories of her brother there. After hearing about Dark Cove Weyr from her friend J'sal, She immediately transferred. She then arrived later that day at Dark Cove Weyr with Kirath, hoping to get a fresh new start at life.

Personality:Rishana is a young adult that takes her responsibilities as a greenrider seriously. She works hard to care for her dragon like most riders and she never shirks her responsibilities. She has a very stubborn streak when it comes to an argument and won't back down from one if she thinks she's right. She can't handle criticism very well, which is one of her major faults, but the message can be gotten across if the criticism is phrased politely. She will sometimes compliment and encourage others when they are having trouble or if they just seem depressed. Her brother had taught her that a compliment could go a long way in giving others the confidence they need to get through certain tasks. She often puts up front of being confident and secure, but deep inside she is just as insecure and unsure of herself as many other people. She sometimes becomes depressed because of her brother's death, blaming herself for being out flying sweeps, not knowing that her brother had been dying back at the weyr. Rishana is basically a truthful person, but she will tell a little white lie once in a while, depending on the circumstances. Since the death of her brother, she has become quiet and withdrawn around others, except for those she considers to be close friends; of course she is always comfortable talking to her dragon. Overall, Rishana is a troubled young woman who is struggling to deal with her brother's death, but those who do take a closer look at her, will discover her to be a loyal friend that can be counted in almost any situation.

Hobbies/Skills:Rishana is a very good cook, for her mother taught her how to cook using jus the right amount of herbs and spices to make an excellent meal. She is also a fair healer, having been taught the basic skills of healing by her mother.

Size: 33 L, 70 ws. She is only slightly smaller than the average green
Appearance:Kirath is a deep sea green in color. Her muzzle looks as if someone had taken the deep green waters of the sea and splashed it across her muzzle. Waves of an even deeper sea green seem to sweep across her face and down her neck. The waves then fade into a lighter sea green as they pool down around her shoulders. It then continues to sweep down her front legs in a swirl of assorted hues of sea green before finally ending at her feet. Her talons are a light olivine in color and are unusually long and sharp. As you look at the tops of her wings you notice that they are a solid deep sea green in color with a few lighter patches of olivine here and there. The bottoms of her wings are a very light color of sea green with a few flecks of jade green along the wingsail. When you look at her haunches you see an incredibly deep shade of stormy sea green that seems to flow down from her haunches down her back legs, before swirling around her feet. Her tail seems to be contrasted by a lighter shade of sea green that seems to swirl against a darker stormy sea green that seems to flow all the way to the tip of her tail.
Personality:Kirath is the complete opposite of her rider. She isn't afraid to speak her mind and will always voice her opinion, which can sometimes get Rishana into trouble. She is curious about every facet and life and will constantly question her rider about things. She is constantly giving advice to those around her, whether it is bad or good. Kirath has the ability to see right through the confusion of emotion to understand what is truly important. She acts as an anchor for Rishana, supporting her when she is sunk low in depression. Stereotypes seem to really bother her, and it annoys her when she is talked down to by any other dragon. In fact because of this, she always puts a little extra effort into doing things, and she will go the extra mile just to show others what she can do. When it comes to fighting thread, she is a no nonsense dragon. She will focus all her energy into flaming thread and dodging it, her only though being to destroy thread, for like all dragons, she has an intense hatred of it. Kirath can be a very determined dragon when she wants to be, and she wont stop at a task until it is done. Kirath does have her faults, just like any other dragon. She has a bad habit of rushing headlong into things before thinking them through clearly. A fault she shares with her rider is that she can't take criticism very well, and she will often simply tune out those who are trying to discipline her. Kirath is also very protective of her rider and will not tolerate her rider being harmed in any way. Overall, Kirath is opinionated, curious, and determined dragon that is extremely loyal to those she cares for.
Abilities:Kirath is slightly more agile than most greens and can turn very quickly in the air. She is also very knowledgeable about air currents and usually has the ability to quickly find updrafts, downdrafts, and thermals when she needs them. Although her flame is shorter and wider than that of other greens, she makes up for it with her deadly accuracy.
Relationships:Kirath is generally friendly towards other dragons and doesn't mind polite conversations. Her habit of speaking her mind may get her in trouble with other dragons but she generally gets along just fine with them. In fact, she values the opinions of other dragons and will often ask them about their thoughts on certain things. She doesn't seem to mind firelizards either, but that's most likely because she is used to her rider's blue.
