Hair color/Style: Short, choppy hair. She�s a brunette, so in sun the red pigments in her hair comes out whereas it usually just looks like a medium brown.
Complexion: Tan, never burns
Scars or birthmarks, etc: Nothing much for a few common scars from bumps and bruises here and there.
Jewelry or weapons: The typical beltknife, and since she�s a weyrwoman and her father�s in the jewelcraft, you can bet your buttons she�s got lots of things to go long with other things�assuming you can get her in a dress.
Favorite colors/dress: The difficult thing is getting Rika in a dress, its not that she doesn�t look good, she�s hot in a dress�she just doesn�t like displaying her feminine side. She usually prefers to wear casual clothes and pants with her rider�s jacket.

Background: Rika grew up in Dark Cavern Hold, being an only child does have its perks, and she was rather spoiled. However, being a tomboy doesn�t help one learn to be a proper lady, but she never really did fit in with others her age. She became slightly antisocial, but her intelligence soared as she tried to study every subject she could get her hands on. Then a searchrider game and it was established she would be a candidate with a gold egg on the sands. Rika really didn�t think much of it. While all the other female candidates were fawning over the hardening gold egg, she seemed to be more interested in the more neglected eggs. The weyr was rather surprised that when the gold hatched it chose the antisocial, tomboy, who never seemed interested in impressing a gold. However, it was a good match in the end and Rika excelled through her weyrling training. The weyrwoman was getting older and the weyr knew that her gold would soon stop rising, but the problem was, having an antisocial weyrwoman. Much of the concern arose through rumors and other things but Southern Weyr got a hold of it and decided to arrange for another goldrider to transfer and become weyrwoman. When it was her time to step up, Rika was broadsided with the arrival of the other goldrider. She because bitter at Southern Weyr for spoiling her moment of glory. She drudgingly went back to her position of WW2, though not only was she antisocial, but she became rather nasty. She stepped over the line, but just to the point of avoiding real punishment. That�s what happens when one doesn�t get her way. Then with the plague, Rika realized just how important the weyr system was. With this discovery she was forced into being more social and allowed to be involved in matters. When the plague was over, Southern Weyr left to go North, taking the WW with them, and establishing Rika has the Weyrwoman of Dark Cove. It's almost as if they just gave up on the South.

Personality: She was spoiled as a child so she�s stubborn and doesn�t like it at all when she doesn�t get her way. She�s a tad arrogant, pushing her rank if she feels backed up against the wall. She�s determined to be strong and look strong as well, and doesn�t like �girly� things. She doesn�t really care for men either, having pretty much been shunned by things as a teenager for not being girlish enough. Once a guy gets through her barrier, then there�s a lot to be determined. She�s extremely serious and very no nonsense. Her full potential and warmer side have yet to be revealed.
Pets: She can�t stand flits, much less other creatures.
Hobbies/Skills: She�s a little bit of a jack of all trades.

Appearance: She�s a rich gold, with a slightly lighter underbelly that appears to be a yellowy gold.
Personality: Alunath knows what she is, and does have some pride and arrogance about it, but there�s no one to really challenge her over it, now is there? She often pretends she�s not interested in something when she really is, and can appear cold to others. She does have a softer, wiser side to her as well, but only her rider really sees it. She�s serious minded like her rider, work comes first.
Abilities: She�s big, lots of stamina, and great in rescue tactics in threadfall when other dragons go down.
Relationships: She is very overprotective of her eggs, isn�t very playful. She will pay others some mind if they want it, usually more towards bronzes and browns.
