Background: After having a troubled labor and various miscarriages, Galmir�s parents decided on only having one child. Since day one Galmir was set to take over his father�s place and be his father�s son. This boded well for the family as Galmir became his father�s tool, doing his biding and not really having the smarts to go up against him. Galmir was going to be a miner because that�s what his father�s family had always been generation to generation and that was all there was to it. Then a searchrider showed up and that�s when everything changed. The rider�s dragon took an interest in Galmir, much to his bewildered father. Galmir decided that maybe, for the first time in his lifetime, he ought to try something new. Galgar didn�t mind too much since he figures there�s no way that his son will ever impress and that the lad will just return and continue to mine when it doesn�t work out.

Personality: Galmir has a heart of gold being what he is, a big friendly giant who�s still growing. He enjoys music and the arts since its all very new to him. At times, the weyr is very overwhelming for him, so he tends to hang back in corners. He�s very shy as well and doesn�t say much. This is probably because he�s not the best looking fellow and he doesn�t have much as far as intelligence goes. He�s slow to making decisions and usually someone else just makes them for him because he�s simple minded. He likes being told what to do, and does it.
