Physical Build: His body is lean and lithe, bringing to mind the frame of a swimmer or acrobat rather than the stocky form of a dragonrider. But more than a casual look at him will reveal that his shoulders are probably a bit wider than they should be and his chest is a bit deeper and thicker than most. Turns of caring for Pavlith and Candidate exercises have left him deceptively well muscled.

Eye Color: Emerald eyes that twinkle with mischief only seem to enhance his pleasant features.
Hair Color/Style: He keeps his light brown hair trimmed short. If it grows out even slightly, it has a tendency to curl and he hates that.
Complexion: A light tan the year round which tends to darken somewhat during the summer months because of more exposure.
Distinguishing Features: His nose, which has obviously been broken several times, is almost flattened to his skull. After the bridge of his nose, it takes an abrupt, yet thankfully brief, right turn before again heading straight down and making a slow and subtle turn back to the center. He also has a scar cutting across his left eyebrow from an earlier altercation (he bobbed when he should have weaved) and another larger scar on his chin.
Jewelry or Weapons: He always carries a beltknife (just in case) and he wears a plain, iron ring around his left pinky that was a gift from his youngest sister when he Impressed.
Favorite Colors/Style of Dress: He prefers light colors and to dress as casually as possible. If he can get away without wearing shoes, he will.

Background: Cahrsen was born in a small Trader caravan, the second son, and middle child, of the caravan leader and his wife. At a young age, his unique sense of humor and his penchant for jokes were constantly getting him in trouble. His parentswere concerned about his future for it seemed he didn't care about anything. They were relieved when he was Searched and taken to Telgar Weyr to be a Candidate at the age of 12. Unfortunately, things didn't change and he was sent back home because of disciplinary problems. His parents were somewhat embarrassed and reluctantly accepted him back into their home.The very next Turn, he travelled to Ista Weyr to stand at that hatching. But again he had similar problems and was asked to leave. His parents didn't know what to do with him. He had to learn some kind of discipline, so they shipped him off to live with his uncle at a nearby Sea Hold. The life of a fishercrafter was difficult but Cahrsen worked diligently at it when he realized that it might be his last chance. But he also knew that the life wasn't for him and he silently hoped that something else would become available. That hope became reality when the Senior Queen at Fort Weyr produced a very large clutch. The Weyr needed a lot of Candidates and reluctantly Cahrsen was allowed to Stand as a Candidate. He did his best to keep his nose clean and stay outof trouble for the first time in his life and it all paid off when Ca'sen finally impressed bronze Pavlith. He was overjoyed at meeting his new lifemate but that joy was tempered with sadness with the knowledge that some of the dragonets died several days later from the Plague. Weyrling training was a new challenge that he gladly accepted and dragon and rider, who had instantly become fast friends and practically inseparable, did remarkably well to the surprise of all the Weyr's residents. Ca'sen had never been happier in his entire life. But Ca'sen grew weary of the authoritative control of the overly strict Weyr. He eventually came into conflict with many of the Weyr's residents and ruffled a few of the wrong feathers and was transferred to Dark Cavern Weyr. When that Weyr was merged with Dark Cove he was transferred there.

Personality: Ca'sen is a prankster, pure and simple. If he hasn't pulled a joke on someone recently that probably only means that he's planning something _big_. He has an unusual sense of humor though and sometimes finds even the most mundane things to be hilarious. His humor and predilection for pranking often got him into trouble and he did get into a lot of fights when he was younger but Impressing Pavlith changed all of that. He's a bit of a charmer and often relies on his quick wit and soothing words to keep him out of trouble. His temper isn't nearly as short as it used to be. As long as they don't say anything bad about his dragon or his other friends, he could care less what others say or think especially about him. He is very laid back now and rarely gets upset over anything. He just takes it all in stride. If something bad happens, he will try to avoid it happening in the future but if it does, it does.
Hobbies/Skills: He knows quite a bit about fishing now and he occasionally tries his hand at wave riding although admittedly he just uses that as an excuse to go to the beach.

Appearance: A brilliant bronze becomes an orange on his wing spars and joints and the tip of his tail. His stomach and hindquarters are a darker, more antiquey bronze. Pavlith is extremely muscular, practically rippling, and looks to be very powerful. He is not extremely maneuverable but his power packed body make him faster than most bronzes. He is also very large, as big as a small Gold.
Personality: 'Like rider, like dragon'describes Pavlith to a tee. He acts as both instigator and confidante to Ca'sen. Pavlith has had a calming influence on the turbulent young man but that hasn't stopped him from enjoying or suggesting a prank every now and then. He does tend to be a little 'color conscious' and has been known to talk down to Blues and Greens although he doesn't realize that he is doing it until someone points it out to him.
Abilities: Power and speed are his obvious strengths and his lack of maneuverability can be a liability.
Relationships: Despite his 'fierce' appearance, Pavlith is a very gentle soul and sometimes is a little shy especially around the ladies.
