Description: Amilyn is 5 feet, 5 inches tall, with dark brown hair (sometimes near black if she does not wash it often enough! :p ) that is slightly past her shoulders in length. Her eyes are honey colored. She is often dirty,and/or grimy due to her work.

Personality: Amilyn considers herself the greatest inventor on all of Pern, however the vast majority of the time her inventions do not work at all. On the rare occasion that they do, her inventions are usually not worth the effort of actually using. An example of this would be her "Leg shaver/Wood whittler." The tightened springs, once wound, cause the blades to spin too fast for shaving, and not fast enough to cut wood. However, Amilyn is determined to show up everyone who mocked her through out her youth, in finally creating the perfect device. She often looser herself in mindless creation fits, only to have her own blow up in her face. Aside from this, she is still a cheery, happy, and friendly person. Amilyn is easily persuaded into doing just about anything, apart from giving up on her dream. This could, and has lead her into trouble more times than she can count ...

History: Amilyn spent many years trying learn as much as possible on how things work. She has trained in many different Smithcraft Halls, due more to the fact that she has been kicked out for ruining precious items, or caving in a room, once or twice. Amilyn travels fairly randomly looking for places to eat and sleep, but do to her nature as a rather large failure, she is often forced on her way before she can find a place to truly call home ...

Pet's Name: Ruby
Type: Firelizard
Description: A small small pink flit. She was hatched Green, but was stained pink due to an unfortunate accident while Amilyn was trying to improve the way clothes are dyed...
Personality: Often condescending toward Amilyn, and berates her on a regular basis for causing more trouble that she solves with her useless inventions. Ruby is believed to be sterile, as she has not risen in the nine and half turns since she was hatched. This was possibly caused from being caught in the middle of one too many explosions ...

Craft: Smith
Rank: Officially Amilyn holds the rank of a journeyman smith, although this has taken her long to achieve than most due to her roaming. She has demonstrated the know-how, and ability to perform normal tasks of her trade, but prefers to try and work on her inventions, than to act as an actual smithcrafter.
Location: There was no one location due to being booted on a regular basis by way of "transfer." She moves from place to place.
