| 6/5/03 Geez 4 days and no typing. Wazzup with that? Ok so I'm slacking, big whoop. Super Powers: If you could have only 1 what would you have? See I like the idea of flying around. The only problem is what do I do with the luggage? Teleportation? You can get around and carry stuff with you, not too shabby. Heck you can even rob banks and stuff. Mind reading? Really useful IMO, but then do you really want to know what everyone is thinking? What about invasion of privacy? And really you have to work on blocking things out. Throwing out bolts of destructive energy? Fire, lasers, lightning from your hands or eyes or whatever. Sounds cool, but then you're a target for the military, or experimentation. Anyone want to go to the Giants/Tigers game on Saturday? |

| 6/18/03 Yup the slackiness continues. So I'm going to do a couple of thoughts from the last 2 weeks or so in random order. Why? Cause well that's the way it works. From earlier today, discussing things with Myrlun: So are women more inclined to be bisexual? I mean social stigma aside in my experience I've heard/heard of more women saying "she's hot, or she's cute, she has nice tits". Guys? We say that too, but I haven't heard a couple guys talking saying "he's got a nice ass." On occassion I'll hear/see a guy point out a guy to a girl, but even then it's mostly "That's Bob, I thought he was your type" versus "Hey he's cute, go hit on him". Course then again there's that whole being thought of as gay thing. Does Magic really exist in our world? And is it just a matter of figuring out how to harness it and use it? Maybe long ago (or not so long ago) all the people who knew how to work magic were killed or just in very good hiding? It'd be really cool to fling spells around. Ladies: How would you react to a guy coming up to you (that you know/have met) and him saying "Hey I like you, let's go out?" Guys want to know if that will work. For the record I'm not married, nor do I have a girlfriend. I keep getting accussed of these things, but it's not true. Yes I go to Vegas to visit a girl who happens to be my friend, but really she has no interest in me beyond just being friends. Thunder Valley Indian Casino is now open. Soon I'll go check it out. Woohoo! Now to just make sure I don't go there too often. Guess I'll find out if I really do have a gambling problem or not. 8) Just once I'd like to hear a famous person who believes in reincarnation say that in a former life they were a measely peasant who died from starvation. Nothing special, they just lived, farmed, tried to raise a family and died. Dogs are too cool. I like having a dog around, they just want you to feed them and play with them. That's it. No complications, no guilt trips, just have to clean up after them at times. 11/08/03 I'mmmm bacck. Not that anyone noticed, since I doubt I have any page views in quite some time. So I have a new respect for what my sister and brother in law go through every day. Last weekend I got to spend the day with my nephew and 2 nieces. My dad was around to help out, but mostly it was me and the kids. For the most part they're a lot of fun, but man they're little motors just kept going and going. No nap from about noon until 5pm. Then they conked out for almost 2 hours. Making me think that maybe I don't want more then 1 kid. Or at least 3 years apart. Something anyway. |
| January 8th, 2004. Do NOT ever order from MLB.com. I placed an order on December 19th, realized after I confirmed the order that they had nothing about guaranteed Christmas delivery. I figure no big deal, I'll fill out there little form to cancel the order. The next day I get an e-mail order confirmation from them. I respond back saying "hey I wanted this cancelled, do not ship it." MLB.com responded back and that the order may have already shipped, but they'll put the cancellation through. Fast forward to January 6th, which is when I get an e-mail saying my order has shipped. That's roughly 9 business days and they couldn't cancel the order? WTF. They give me a tracking number saying that they shipped via Fedex, although the number looks suspicously like a UPS tracking number. I check both sites and am told I have an invalid tracking number. I e-mail back to MLB.com saying not only did I not want this order, but the tracking number you gave me is invalid or your using a different shipper. The next day I get an e-mail apologizing that I'm having difficulty tracking the order and that they've contacted the shipper to get correct tracking information and will get back to me. Today an e-mail saying "Oh it was delivered on the yesterday." Thanks a lot MLB.com. Guess what I won't be ordering from your site ever again. Hell I may rethink ordering anything baseball related again after this. |
