| Thought or question of the day/week/month/year. So what's this? Every now and then I get these random thoughts or questions that run through my head. So I thought I'd share them here. If you want you can e-mail your responses to them, and I can even put them up here. We'll have to see, I don't really expect a lot of people to respond cause really how much traffic is this page really going to get? 5/16/2003 Ok so here's something to think about for you astrology folks: 2 people. Under the zodiac they're not compatible. However under Chinese astrology they're suppossed to seek each other out. Which methodology wins? Why? How about the reverse (ie Chinese says to avoid that person, but Zodiac says you're perfect for each other)? 5/23/03 From StromMcleod: Western vs Eastern Zodiac: Being highly attuned to the base DNA structure of the individuals, the Western Zodiac stuff only applies to those whose roots come from Europe. Eastern applies to those whose roots come from India/Asia. For those mixed breeds? You're all doomed!!!! *evil cackle* 5/21/2003 Pearl Tea. Why the hell is this stuff so addictive? I mean I've become a Pearl Tea Junkie. Any excuse to swing by a Pearl Tea place and I'm there. It doesn't help that more keep springing up all over the place. Don't know what pearl tea is? 5/22/03 So maybe it's just me, but why is it when a woman puts her hair up she looks 3-5 years younger then she really is? And (this is me I know) but why is it then that women with longer hair and have it down are just so damn attractive. OK male chauvanistic pig comment: Yay skirts, dresses and mini-skirts. I dont know what it is but women just look better in these then in jeans. Course then again I'm a guy so really women just look good in general. 8) No I don't want to date a totally girly girl either. Jeans and a tshirt are just fine for normal everday stuff. It's just nice to see on occassion a woman in a dress, or skirt etc. IMO. Course not having a gf in quite some time what do I know. 5/23/2003 From StromMcleod: Long hair: What is actually happening is that the black long lengths of hair flowing downwards draws your eyes downwards to the (usually) more interesting areas. Also, long hair tends to frame the face, which will cause a slight narrowing of the face (narrow, long thin faces tend to be more attractive than round 'fat' faces, in women) So, it's all a perceptual/optical illusion. Another BS answer: genetically, long hair is a sign of health and we are naturally (survival of fittest and all) drawn to the 'more healthy' specimens of our species. Glossy, shiny, healthy long hair is one of those signs. As for the best outfit to see a girl in... the crass answer is 'none at all'. :) |

(ok, just sugar, but similarly addictive) Also, maybe there's some subconscious primal urge to suck tiny balls? One way to avoid running out of tapioca before hand (proper management of tapioca supply) is to filter the stuff through your teeth between sucks so that only a couple go through before the grill comes down. (Strangely enough, I usually have the opposite problem... I drink all the tea and am left with a bunch of sweet starch balls (which, btw, IIRC, is what tapioca is... balls of corn starch)) |
