| 5/23/2003 Dreams: So how many of you realize you're dreaming when you're dreaming? I do. Most times in fact I mentally comment to myself "oh this is a dream". Most times though I can't actually control it. So if you do realize that you're dreaming (or just remember your dreams well)what's your viewpoint? Are you totally immersed (so you see the dream as if you were living it) or do you view it as an observer? Or do you switch? Do dreams really mean anything, or is it just your brain flushing out the crap from the day? 5/28/03 So why is it at a BBQ you feel the need to eat 2 to 3 times more then you normally can, or even should. You've got your steaks, chicken, potato salad, normal salad, chips and salsa and deserts. And damn if you have to (yes your arm is being twisted you just don't feel the pain) try all of it. Ahh well good thing I walk the dog, at least I do something that will help burn all the extra calories I consumed last weekend. Ahh well as TheGibe said, "ah, some days you just feel like an orc peon..... "Work work" 5/29/03 From Myrlun: "Why do drive through ATM's have Braille?" You know what I hate? I hate being moody. I'm going along things are ok (I mean I was at work and nothing horrible had happened). Then I go to lunch I come back, and bam not in a good mood at all. Turned totally negative and just wanted to go home and blast away on some computer game. Ok so maybe stop at Jamba Juice, or go get a Blizzard (ice cream is good, but Blizzard's are better!), or even a Pearl Tea. I mean being a perpetual downer would be something, at least you know what to expect. But Noooooo I have to be bouncing all around the mood spectrum. Stupid moods. Who votes that I need a girlfriend? If you vote yes, you get to set me up on a date. 8) Ok back to your normally scheduled web surfing. |

| 5/3103 So why are Flea Markets called Flea markets anyway? TheGibe theorized that it's comment on the quality of the products there. 6/1/03 Love at first site. I used to believe this. Then I figured it was just lust at first site. Then something struck me. What it is (at least for me) is not love or lust, just the sudden realization that the woman in question is going to have a large impact on my life. So far 4 women have caused this to happen to me. Haven't married/dated any of them either. In 2 instances the 'wow' moment as I call it happened on first seeing the woman. The first 'wow' moment I recall having was with a friend of mine (we're still friends even if she's married and lives in another state) who at that time I'd known her for years. Wow3 was on the 2nd or 3rd meeting. I think I've learned something from each one. Wow1: It is possible to be attracted to someone and still be friends. To the point where while I recognized that she's an attractive woman, that's irrevelant to the fact that we're friends. Wow2: Being wierd and goofy is ok. Why cause if you're having fun and ok with yourself what other people think doesn't matter. However sometimes talking each other out of asking each other out wasn't the best thing for us. It's a shame too that we lost contact with each other. But life goes on. Wow3: Define limits when friends with members of the opposite sex. Stick to them. If you don't you end up hurting each other and likely ruining a great friendship. For you ladies here's a couple things to keep in mind when being just friends with a guy. 1) If you're in even a slighty touchy relationship keep it tothe point where you're comfortable with other people watching. ie if you think you should be alone together to do whatever it is, you're likely going beyond 'just friends'. 2) Never ever tell the guy you've thought about kissing him, dating him or that he's nearly perfect. These things somehow sink in and he begins to wonder why the hell you aren't dating each other. Obviously if you want the relationship to develop beyond friends then do so aggressively and remove the doubt. 3) If you just want to be just friends, don't let the removal clothing happening (on the surface duh, but at the time well I was being dumb, ok). Wow4: Sometimes you just have to say WTF. I was set to move away, yet I HAD to ask her out. I'm glad I did, otherwise I would have missed out on a great friend. While she may be just about perfect for me, I'm not what she's looking for. Sure that leads to some potential problems, but it's been worth it. Guessing that'll be it for this page, so be on the look out for page 3!!! |
