July 6-8, PES trainers, Esnaider and Gardy, led a seminar for 8 participants at the Free Methodist Bible Institute in Port-au-Prince. The cooking conditions were good. The participants prepared rice, beans, eggs, and meat. Esnaider returned to the Cap Haitian area the last week of July to monitor the progress of a large solar cooking project and observe how Global Sun Ovens (manufactured by Solar Ovens International) are assembled. Esnaider was given hands on experience in oven assembly and he also continued coaching the women trainers who are teaching 500 people in solar cooking.
