2002-03:
Armstrong was the only player to appear in all 82 games for
Orlando, averaging 9.4 ppg., 3.9 apg., 3.6 rpg. and
team-high-tying 1.65 stlpg. in 28.7 minpg. From the free throw
line he shot a team-best .878 (165-188) and averaged 10.4 ppg.,
4.8 apg., 4.3 rpg. and 1.43 stllpg. in 33.0 minpg. On Dec. 30
against Washington at Utah he led his team 23 times in assists
and three times recorded double-figures in assists. On he
steered up on Magic’s all-time list in games played on Dec. 18th
at Utah, on Mar. 3 at Chicago, on Feb. 28 at New York, on Nov.
30 against Atlanta on Jan. 21 at Cleveland and on Oct. 30 at
Miami. In March he earned NBA’s Community Assist Award. He
averaged 9.4 ppg., 3.7 apg. and 2.4 rpg. in 32.3 minpg in all
seven postseason games (one start). On 25th April,
against Detroit (Game #3) he scored career-playoff high with
eight assists.

2001-02:
Armstrong assisted as co-captain of the Magic and played in all
82 games for Orlando, averaging 12.4 ppg., team-high 5.5 apg.,
3.9 rpg., and team-high 1.91 stlpg. in 33.3 minpg. He became the
only Magic player to play in all 82 contests and made 79 starts.
On November 21st, he scored a season-high 29 points
against Minnesota and scored in double figures 55 times. On Nov.
26 against Detroit he recorded one steal in 72 games, including
a season-high six steals. He even led his team in assists a
team-best 38 times and in scoring six times. On 8th
March against Washington he performed in 400th career game. He
led the NBA in free throw percentage (182-205, .888), ranked
sixth in steals 10th in steal/turnover ratio (0.90, 157/175) and
19th in assists. On Magic's all-time games played list he passed
Jeff Turner (411) for third place against Cleveland on 4th
April.
