Welcome to Dapper Dan Farm, run by Bethany Bentsen and Diane McDonald since 1967. We are a full service breeding, boarding, training and showing facility located in East Greenwich, Rhode Island. For years we have trained both young riders and young horses, many of our own, who have gone on to make their mark in the show world. From short-stirrup, to pony hunters, to junior hunters and eventually on to adult's, our riders and horses excel in the hunter ring, as well as jumpers and equitation. A number of our ponies, recognizable by the Dapper Dan in front of each one's personal show name, have made a lasting mark in the Children's Ponies and Pony Hunters. Dapper Dan Royal Arrival, one of our first, has done amazingly well in the Children's before moving up to Pony Hunters, where he continues to win. Dapper Dan Juliet, a small, has had great success with her owner in Florida. And rising stars, Dapper Dan Sweet Sensation and Dapper Dan Storm Warning are just starting to create their legacy.
