In 2000, Daphne starred as Olya in Skeleton Woman, a movie that has yet to be shown in most theatres and hasn't yet been released on tape. Skeleton Women is about a mysterious stranger, Olya, who works in a "psychedelic sex circus" and falls in love with Anna, a married executive. Olya tells Anna stories about the female spirit, which they both can see themselves in.

The other stars in the movie were Serena Scott Thomas as Anna, Tony Denison as Victor (Anna's husband), Ria Pavia as Trisha (Olya's other lover) and J.E. Freeman (Olya's boss who is in love with her).
