Ever wonder what exactly I do at school besides sleep? No? Well then skip this page. Otherwise, enjoy a small sampling of the papers I have written.
The Nature of Truth - I wrote this paper at the end of a 48 hour span with no sleep, but I was pretty happy with how it turned out. Professor Morreall awarded me with a 92, saying that the paper had "clear arguments" and "engaging writing." Just think what I could have done with sources and sleep.
The Many Meanings of Mahdi - This paper, which upon completion I immediately named the worst paper I have ever written, came at the beginning of those 48 hours. Basically, I took several encyclopedias and organized their information on the mahdi into one, without putting much thought into the process. I was amazed as Professor Sonn handed me the paper back with a perfect 30 out of 30. With her comments of "great research" and "excellent organization," I almost felt sorry for bashing her on the teacher evaluations.
Seeking Freedom - Billy Buckley says he can tell when a paper is put together the night before. This paper, put together three hours before class, earned the grade of an A minus.
Quotations of Ives - So, I walk into the computer lab at one in the morning to start my paper, which just so happens to be due in exactly eight hours, and guess who has just sat down to start writing his paper? None other than fellow One Accordian John Stephens. After a few hours of hard work, I asked him if he was planning on going to class, and he said he had to, since he had to turn the paper in. I told him that I was considering getting Juju to turn mine in and if he wanted, I could get Juju to take his as well. Needless to say, Juju handed in three papers on that particular day. Oh, by the way, I got a B+ and John got B. In your face John.
Acquiring Wisdom through Study and Thought - Professor Bohl has the worst handwriting I have ever seen. I have no idea what he thought about this paper, but hey, he gave me a B+ so it couldn't have been too bad.
The Paradox of the Burrito - This is the last paper I ever wrote at the College of William and Mary, and one of the most painful. I never found out what grade I got on it, but considering that I had a D in Philosophy of Religion before this paper and my final, and that I ended up with a B, I'm assuming that the world-renowned Professor James must have liked it.
