| Monday, October 22, 2001 Well, good news to report, I think I am actually feeling a little better!!! It is barely noticeable, but I think I can tell I handle activity slightly better. I started tutoring a few weeks ago. It has turned out really well. I tutor a hearing impaired girl (she can hear with a hearing aid) two hours twice a week and another girl two hours once a week. I've been able to handle that fairly well, but I try not to do anything extra. I started weening myself off the Zoloft so I wouldn't be taking as many pills, but once I took it down to only 25 mg a day I began to have uncontrollable dizziness. It was really bad and beginning to interfere with my ability to function after only a few days, so I went back up to 50 mg today. The 50 mg completely ended the dizzyness and is still less than the 100 mg I was taking. I also stopped taking the Diamox for my pseudo-tumor cerebri. It hasn't seemed to help the spot in my eye any for over a year. I think I am just going to have to live with the spot. I don't have my next appointment with Dr. Lerner until the week after Thanksgiving. I am hoping to be feeling even better by then. I also applied to Northwestern early decision. I'll know if I get in by Christmas. I hope that my illness won't affect the decision negatively. I'm not worried, it's cool if I get in, but if not then I'll just go somewhere else and have just as good a time. :-) Ok that's all for now. |
