   July 11, 2003Greetings from Kansas! Sorry it has taken so long for me to update this page. Between moving back, school, and work...I can hardly find time to just sit down and relax. So let me tell you what has been going on recently. My last few days in Germany were filled with excitement and happiness. For my birthday, Chip signed us up for a USo tour to Hiedlburg (which is one my favorite towns in Germany). We learned the history of the town, toured the inside of the castle, and did a little tourist shopping. We then took a cruise up the Neckar River and as we floated back down, we watched a firworks display from the castle. After I got back to the states, I was thrown into a whirlwind of activities with Carolynn's wedding. Between dress fittings, tying ribbons, and catching up on all the good gossip, it was a very exciting but stressful week. The wedding was beautiful and everyone had a great time at the reception. School started two weeks ago and I started working at Chili's last week. So far everything is going good and it does feel good to get back and see everyone. Some of you may remember me mentioning once that I was a member of a online military wives support group. I still am and have taken over some duties. We have now added a Wives Care Package site which I am the administrator of. When our loved ones are deployed we always send them packages. Someone brought up the point that we also have to live through the seperation as well as running the household..we deserve something too. So alas, Wives Care Package. We have it set up as a secret sister program. We just got it off of the ground so I've been pretty busy getting it up and going. I encourage you to check out the main site Solo-ops . Oh yeah....my hubby. He is good. He is working hard and enjoying himself in Germany...but hopefully not too much now that I'm gone (if you don't count all the video games!) I should have pictures up soon of our trip to Hieldburg and Carolynn's wedding. I just need to scan some of them and upload them to the computer. Hopefully, I will get a chance next week.
