FIREFLY FUNCTION BOOKING GUIDELINES
What is the venue capacity of Firefly?
Firefly can cater
for up to 35 guests for a sit down dinner, or 45 guests for a
canapé style function.
Outside of our
busy pre-theatre service, we can cater for groups of up to
eight people and offer our full a-la-carte menu.
Groups of between
twelve and twenty people can book the front-section of our
restaurant (non-exclusive) for a sit down, or canapé style
event with a set menu and a minimum spend guarantee.
What can Firefly offer?
Firefly operates
under a restaurant license; so by law we have to offer guests
in a large group a substantial meal in order for us to serve
alcohol. As a minimum our canapé menu is considered a
substantial meal. We specialize in everything from intimate
corporate events such as presentations and product launches,
to luncheons, engagement/wedding events and birthday parties.
Our varying menus can lend the event either a more relaxed or
more formal ambiance as is appropriate
Our $25pp canapé menu generally
consists of a selection of items such as fresh tiger prawn
skewers, mini bocconcini risotto balls, stuffed mushrooms,tajine
lamb, zucchini chips, and is a perfect accompaniment for
cocktail style functions. Our $35pp provide average
three tasting dishes per person, and a selection of breads.

selection of desserts and coffee
We can offer you
comprehensive fixed price beverage packages, which allow you
to budget an exact cost of your function beforehand.
We can also offer
your guests a limited beverage selection, reducing your costs
and minimizing fuss during your event.
How much will it cost?
Fixed price sit
down menus for twelve to twenty six guests are $35 per guest,
or premium packages are available for $45 per guest which
include dessert and coffee
Canapés packages
are priced at $25 per person
Wines on our list
start from $34 per bottle, and seven dollars per glass.
We operate a
“guaranteed minimum spend” system for large bookings and
functions during most evenings during our peak periods.
A ten percent
service charge applies to all groups of twelve or larger.

You will receive confirmation of your booking by telephone
once the form has been received and a booking deposit charged
to your credit card.
FIREFLY MINIMUM SPEND SCHEDULE
Minimum spend guarantees apply for all groups of twenty
of more that book an event. Minimum spends are inclusive
of G.S.T., but exclusive of service charge.

Terms and Conditions
• A
50% deposit is required one week prior to the event and
will be billed to your credit card.
• A
final tax invoice for food and beverages will be issued
and payment settled at the close of the event.
• Due
to the size of our venue it will not be possible to accommodate
more than 35 guests for a sit down event and 45 guests for
a canapé style event.
• Please
avoid inviting more guests than these numbers as it is embarrassing
and uncomfortable for both us and your guests when we have
to turn them away.
• Final
numbers must be confirmed before 4pm on the previous day
or you will be charged for the full number of guests booked,
even if fewer guests attend the event.
• All
patrons must vacate the premises by 11:00pm.
• Any
unreasonable bill disputes at time of payment will be billed
directly to the credit card details provided below, and
we will contact
you on the next business day.
• Any
unreasonable damage to the premises will be charged to the
deposit credit card.
• Firefly
operates a Responsible Service of Alcohol Policy as required
by law. Our staff are required to act responsibly in the
service of
alcohol and may not serve intoxicated or under-age guests.
