BORACAY:

How to get there:
A plane ride to Catidan Airport or Kalibo
Airport.

20 to 30 minute boat ride from port to
Boracay Island
TIP: Clothes can get wet on the boats so wear clothes
that are meant for the beach.

Where to stay:
If youre with your family, I suggest Pink
Patio or Club Panoly
If youre on a tight budget with your
friends, some peopoe will approach you at the Kalibo
or Catidan airport. They sell rooms to travelers
without bookings.
TIP: You can book a night with them for one night and
look around for another place the next day. There are
also packages available through travel agencies. They
arrange everything including transportation, food,
accommodations, etc.

Where to eat:
There are a lot of restaurants around that
will cater to your taste buds cravings. Although
Boracay is famous for its wide variety of seafood.
TIP: If you want to eat somewhere cheap, the market or
talipapa is where you should go.

Where to go:
If there are events to be held in Boacay, it
would always be in White Beach. There are also a lot
of bars in White Beach. One of the more famous ones
is Cocomangas. It is famous for its fruit shakes,
smoothies and tropical cocktails.

Transportation:
Main means of transportation around the
island is the tricycle. IT would only cost around 20
to 30 pesos.

What else is there to do:
The banana boat ride is one of the famous
forms of recreations at the beach.
Paraws or sailing boats are for rent at 300
to 500 pesos per hour.
Some places along White beach offer equipment
and lessons for windsurfing.
