| I like to see into your mind, Know how you think. It is a security blanket. If I know how your brain works, And how you perceive me, I can learn to do the things, Say the words. To manipulate you into believing, That I do not have any weaknesses, And that I am good in the ways that count to you. I want to possess the power, Of being able to analyse you, Picking you apart into a thousand tiny pieces, And expecting each one carefully. Let's talk about you, shall we? If I could just mull over your problems, For a moment, I could forget my own, Or pretend that I do not have them. How does this make you feel? Sad or depressed? Tell me about it, So I know I am not the only one, That others share my misery. Did you know I twist your conscience between my fingers, As you sit there on the couch. It keeps them from getting cold, In the winter time, I mean. What's that you say, Don't tell anyone this but...? Oh don't worry, I wont, Your secrets keep me powerful, And in control. But the best of the deal is, You do not see it, And so I keep you in control. I like to see into your mind, Know how you think. It's a security blanket. |
