| When We Are Woozy... | ||||||||||||
| I think we are more likely to spill our emotions, When we are half asleep. Like being drunk. I have made some of the biggest revelations, When my eyes were sliding shut, And my body telling me to go to bed. I once discovered myself that way. What if we are drifting closer to our true state, As sleep takes over. When I am drowsy, I pretend I can will thoughts to my soulmate, And I call to them to find me. Sometimes I think I can almost hear their reply. Is it a stupid thing, To ask if this is normal? Are we more spiritual, As we lay down to rest? Did you know I am sleepy right now. Is my mind creeping up apon something mindnumbing, Or is it just a sleep-deprived daydream, Hastily scribbled down on a piece of paper, For the likes of you to read? |
