As a resolution I have decided to start a second group. It is set in the same world as Fate of Moorj but it takes place in another part of that world. There has been no or little contact, however, between the two land masses,
Frountasia is a medium to large sized island (any fellow Aussies think Queensland plus NSW together). It's history suggests that once the entire island was ruled by one king who, burdened by his responsibilities, divided the land up and appointed five different sub-rulers to watch over a part each. He then hid away on a small island named Illunus for his remaining years.
When he died, however, he left no heir and so the greedy rulers took their land and made it a separate country.
At first each family was happy with their own piece of land but as years rolled by and generations moved on, border tiffs became more and more frequent. Then there were battles and wars, and through all of this, the people of Illunus sat silent as though they were in possession of some other knowledge.
Now finally the people of Illunus have responded, and issued a command that each country's representative appear to a peace talk on their island.
Queen Tiela looks from her castle window out across her coutnry Evelren. She is different from the other rulers, for land and power do not matter to her. All she wants is peace.
All of the royalty mentioned are around the same age, and that is around the age of Tiela (this is to do with the storyline). Their ages are between 17 and 23, you may choose. Apologies if this hurts whatever you were planning.
Ever since Tiela's parents were murdered when she was ten, Nathanial has been her guide. He is Tiela's second father and the only family she has. Nathanial is in his forties, is wise, kind and going a little gray. When he was younger he travelled a lot and as a consequence, was joined with a mercenary's guild at one stage. He is skilled with the bow and daggers, not so much with the sword but he can hold his own. He also knows a few (but only a few) little wisps of magic.His personality is friendly but he has seen many things and knows how to be dark to the right people. (ie the bad dudes) He is not easily provoked but his threats are deadly serious.
Queen Hyacinth is the pompous, decorated Queen of Van Legite. Van Legite is a country very big on physical beauty, and Queen Hyacinth is the very essance of that. She often considers others below her. Despite all this, she does have a kind heart and knows the difference between right and wrong. She is one of those "upper class ladies" and her main power is in her ability to seduce.
King Alexander rules the land of Yoranther. He is studious and intelligent, preferring to spend much time reading books and conducting experiments. He dislikes war and fighting as it is a waste of time. He wants to try to better the world with his studies. We're talking about one smart sausage here - *grins*
Queen Ellie's parents were many hundreds of years ago a farming family and this has been kept strongly within their blood. At a young age she was sent to grow up for several years on a farm Because of this upbringing she has firm beliefs in what is right and what is wrong. She cannot understand anyone who would want to harm another or not care if another was harmed. She is a lot less formal than most royalty. Queen Ellie is the Queen of the country Nicklemus.
King Benick is slightly darker than most. He has been described as selfish and uncaring. There are also rumours that he has been dealing with dark magic. King Benick of Excelsior is certainly someone to watch carefully, he has started his own fare share of wars.
Nathanial has two of his old and most trusted friends, from the time when he was with the guild, accompany Queen Tiela to the Illunus peace talks.
