Van Legite is the home to pompous royals. The fact that its very name consists of two words is considered the height of vanity. It has a relatively large rich upper class of land owners, whilst the rest of its population works as porrer labourers on these lands.
Social rules run riot because the smallest thing is blown way out of proportion, it is a place where perfect ettiquette is required especially if one does not want to become the talk of the upper class lips.
Gossip is another favoured pastime. Good gossip is a powerful thing to possess no matter who you are.
Van Legite is very much countryside with open fields. There are a few large cities, though, and many of the upper class gravitate there.
Van Legite mainly survives from its crop sales, alcohol and fine crafts than anything else. Van Legite crafts and metalwork are some of the most detailed and decorated in of Frountasia and are considered top quality.
When it comes down to it you would probably find most Van Legitian's are actually non confrontational. They love gossiping and suggesting about things, but saying something straightforward just doesn't appeal to them and violence is considered below them.
