(Philippians 2:5,6) Let this mind be in you, which was also in Christ Jesus: Who, being in the form of God, thought it not robbery to be equal with God:
(John 14:12,20) Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that believeth on me, the works that I do shall he do also; and greater works than these shall he do; because I go unto my Father. At that day ye shall know that I am in my father, and ye in me, and I in you.
My premise is a) that we all start young, mature to light and love and assume our roles in the power of the Spirit with people of God everywhere, in the creation of the New Heavens and the New Earth; And b) Revelation 21:6; 22:12,13... (which I did not print out then, but I will do so now) And he said unto me, It is done. I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end. I will give unto him that is athirst of the fountain of the water of life freely. And behold, I come quickly: and my reward is with me, to give to every man according as his work shall be. I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end, the first and the last.
Curtis sent back message # 5422 which read:
"Dan, You set forth some interesting Scriptures and a quite novel way to live them. They are worth repeating."
(He then listed the above Scriptures again, then said)
"It makes one wonder what stage of growth each of us may be on. And how many lifetimes it might take to be everpresent in the New Heavens and the New Earth. Love, Curtis."
Certainly there is room under the Canadian Charter of Rights and Freedoms for marriage equality to be extended to same-sex couples holding such faith, hope and love. Congratulations Holland! Congratulations France! Go for it - Australia!
We need to carefully understand that it is precisely because Christ has risen from the dead (after going to the cross) and has sent forth another Comforter (Spirit), we can do even greater things than he did while he was here in the flesh. When it says that a man shall leave his father and mother and the two shall become one flesh, is this not a spiritual re-establishment of the kingdom of God on earth, or part of the New Heavens and New Earth being established in God's love via Christ and their Spirit? Can not the same be held true (because of greater works than these shall we now be able to do) between two men or two women leaving their fathers and mothers, becoming one flesh under the marriage vow? Can not this be seen as another part of the spiritual re-establishment of the kingdom of God on earth, or part of the New Heavens and New Earth being established in God's love via Christ and their Spirit?
It can be seen, or else the part about "know that I am in my Father, and ye in me, and I in you" wouldn't make any sense at all, and Revelation 21:4,5 "And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes: and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away. And he that sat upon the throne said, Behold, I make all things new. And he said unto me, Write; for these words are true and faithful." also would never come to pass, or make any sense. But, "knowing that I am in my Father, and ye in me, and I in you" makes perfect sense for those with |
