It is disturbing to see David Mainse of 100 Huntley Street and Stockwell Day of the Canadian Alliance Party get together on TV and smile a lot while condemning same-sex marriages. Lucifer also had reason to smile a lot. He was the most beautiful angel in all of heaven. Only one little word was responsible for his fall. Instead of believing as Christ did, thinking it not a sin to be equal with God (I AM THAT I AM); Lucifer took it one step further (adding one little word) and said, "I AM 'BETTER!'" Boom! Down he fell to the Earth (and with him a 3rd of the heavens) to crawl as a slimy, slithering serpent until Christ overcame him and beat him on his own turf in hell, then rose by the power of the Spirit to be one with God, so that we might receive a double-dose now! Be aware. Smiling faces and solemn looks can be just as deceptive, arrogant, and Alpha-Apish when it comes to the lack of understanding of love and it's role in the creation of same-sex marriages in the Spirit. Both extremes of faith come typically from hardened hearts and unregenerate minds. And, out of which Bible will they quote from in their defence? Biblical war or the Living Word? We know the poor and oppressed - that's why hope and love are greater than such faith. Many alternative lifestyle people are still hoping the shallow faith of many organized religious and political cliques will grow to a more complete, adult-type understanding where you finally put off childish thoughts! Marriage between two adults becoming one is possible when seen with true Spiritual eyes.
Example 2: The Marriage Between Christ and His Church
The Church, being the Bride of Christ is made up of both male and female members, but in a Spiritual sense the gender distinction doesn't matter, we're still collectively, the Bride of Christ. This is so easy to understand with Spiritual eyes. Thank God for Christ's wisdom who opens our eyes.

Well, Curtis e-mailed me back after reading my article saying: "Your logic is fine but your premise is flawed. Jesus never said, "I AM the Alpha and the Omega, the beginning and the end." Jesus never claimed to be God, "It is you who say I am." Just because Jesus uses the words 'I am' does not mean that he is God. You say 'I am' a dozen times a day, does that make you God? I am tired. Does that mean God is tired? Meet me at the Religions and Beliefs Club. Love Curtis."
